5/2/2007 2006 BOXING DAY RAFT RACE This is held at Matlock evey year on boxing day. A one day event where everyone is welcome to put a team in to compete to raise money for charity. As long as it can float it can enter!!! There are some weird and wonderful rafts that are put forward to take part in this event, last year Jetshed used a raft that had been built by fire men and used in the previous years event. But this year they decided to make there own using old jetski hulls. They managed to lead the raft race and finish in 45 minutes which is a fantastic time... taking the win!!!! So if you fancy a day out next Boxing day bear the raft race in mind! A great day out for all the family. 8/10/2006 2006 WORLD FINALS !!! Congratulation to all the brits that have made the trip over to Lake Havasu City, Arizona for the IJSBA world finals. James, Bushell, Perry Field, Lisa Barsby, Jim Goodchild and Ant Burgess are all out there this year representing the UK and flighing the flag high for the brits.
